It was started the way most great things are started: by a group of riders who could not find what they were looking for. The right motorcycle gear was being searched for everywhere, but nothing was hitting the mark. Hard miles were being logged. Long weekends were spent chasing open highways under wide skies. Late nights passed at the roadside, and early mornings were claimed when the blacktop belonged to no one else.

Motorcycle riding gear that actually fit properly was being hunted down. Jackets that moved with the body were needed. Biker gear that would not fall apart after a single season was demanded. Most of all, gear with soul was being sought: pieces that looked like they belonged on a bike because they had been designed by people for whom riding was not a hobby but a way of life.

So something better was built.
